Welcome to Finca Cars-Bonaira - a Stunning Rural Sanctuary

If you wish to register interest in booking beyond 2018 please use the enquiry form on this site

The perfect combination for a truly relaxing holiday - a stylish, tranquil, rural retreat in the heart of the stunning Andalusian countryside and yet only 40 minutes drive from Malaga airport, the buzzing city centre and the beaches of the 'sunshine coast'. Finca Cars-Bonaira is a very special place - a comfortable, well equipped home in the rustic style with a large (10m by 5m) tiled pool and all mod cons, yet retaining a charm and character all of its own. Set in 6,000 square meters of land in an elevated position with stunning views across the Guadalhorce valley and the mountains beyond, you will never tire of the panorama that greets you daily nor the space and amenities of the property itself.

Situated just outside the pretty whitewashed village of Casarabonela, the finca is well located to take advantage of all the area has to offer in terms of the Sierra de las Nieves national park - walking, bird watching, mountain biking, horseriding, cycling, quad biking and all sorts of outdoor pursuits. The breathtaking gorge and the ravishing turquoise lakes of El Chorro are close by and the historic town of Ronda only 50km away. Granada can be accessed in around 2hrs, as can Cordoba, with Seville only a little further distant.

The property has been designed with individuality and there are quirky and unusual features at every turn both within the finca and within the grounds - cobbled floors,  exposed stonework, marble sinks, reclaimed materials, agricultural artefacts, specially commissioned ironwork.

Relax in the extensive grounds with a morning coffee and listen to nothing but birdsong and goat bells - and later relax with a bottle of cava to listen to the cicadas in the heat of the afternoon and the frog chorus at night! The gardens play host to a wealth of flora and fauna and the productive land yields olives, lemons, oranges, nispero, apples, plums, almonds and pears to which guests are welcome to help themselves.
